Hebden Bridge Parish Church of St James c1950

The church is a 'Million Pound' church, built with money from the one million pounds given by the government to provide churches in rapidly growing industrial area - Brighouse got one at about the same time, early 1830's, also Cragg Vale in 1838. St. James was dedicated in 1833.
